I know, I know, I've asked for help for Kindle before, but I have a more specific question this time.

Does anyone know why I cannot see MOBI or PDF files on my Kindle 3? Everything I've read online tells me that my Kindle 3 WILL READ PDF AND MOBI FILES WITHOUT HAVING TO CONVERT THEM TO AZW FILES. On AO3, I can download fics in either MOBI or PDF format, and very much want to put them on my Kindle so I can read fanfic at work! (Well, I cannot download from AO3 today, as there seems to be some problem - but I've done it before!)

But, I cannot see the file at all on my Kindle's main menu, which led me to believe that I had not actually installed them there. But when I plug my Kindle in to my laptop, and explore the device, I see the files in there - both MOBI and PDF, and I can open and read them on my laptop. However, they just aren't viewable anywhere on the Kindle!

Oh, and by the way, went to see Jay Brannan last night, and he was most awesome!! The pictures and videos taken are on Daughter's phone, since it's better than mine, so I have to wait until she sends them to me. Then I'll post whatever I've got, and share my funny stories then! Meanwhile, this is what I'm up to............................

Ok, I've got a big BIG favor to ask all of you.......Those of you who actually get to SEE the premier of the new season of Merlin....those of you who are actually lucky enough to see it when it comes on TV......Please, please, please do not squee about it in your journals without a cut and a spoiler warning!! I'm begging you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok, now, for those of you like me who DO NOT get Merlin in your area..........Where EXACTLY must I go to be able to download the episode after it airs, and how soon will I be likely to get it?? I'm putting my darling son in charge if downloading and he and I will be watching it together. (assuming this is possible)

Last monthbryoneybrynnhad a fandom get-together at her family cottage, and a good time was had by all. I really wished that I could go and meet these wonderful people, but I wasn't able to. So, I created some art to give as gifts so that I could at least be there in spirit! I was so worried about it arriving on time that I went ahead and mailed the art without scanning it first! So, I haven't been able to share any of it until now.

kittie8571received 4 of the 8 little Artist Trading Card paintings that I made, and she has been kind enough to send me scanned copies of them to share with you! Thanks Kat!!!!!!!!!!!!! *hugs*

In addition to the 8 paintings, I also made a bottle of Amortentia, which I thought looked very pretty. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of it before I sent it, because I would have loved to show it to you!

These paintings are acrylic on canvas paper Artist Trading Cards, 2.5 X 3.5 inches. Yeah, they're little - but you're seeing them bigger than actual size, here! (and maybe that's not necessarily a good thing! LOL).... And all are rated G.
