Fanart!!
Last month
bryoneybrynnhad a fandom get-together at her family cottage, and a good time was had by all. I really wished that I could go and meet these wonderful people, but I wasn't able to. So, I created some art to give as gifts so that I could at least be there in spirit! I was so worried about it arriving on time that I went ahead and mailed the art without scanning it first! So, I haven't been able to share any of it until now.
kittie8571received 4 of the 8 little Artist Trading Card paintings that I made, and she has been kind enough to send me scanned copies of them to share with you! Thanks Kat!!!!!!!!!!!!! *hugs*
In addition to the 8 paintings, I also made a bottle of Amortentia, which I thought looked very pretty. I wish I would have remembered to take a picture of it before I sent it, because I would have loved to show it to you!
These paintings are acrylic on canvas paper Artist Trading Cards, 2.5 X 3.5 inches. Yeah, they're little - but you're seeing them bigger than actual size, here! (and maybe that's not necessarily a good thing! LOL).... And all are rated G.
This one is "Snitches":
It actually looks much more gold and shiny in person, as I remember.
Here is "Malfoy Manor":
This is "The Giant Squid":
And finally, "Dobby", probably my favorite out of this group of 4:
The other paintings were The Cupboard Under the Stairs, a potion bottle, a Malfoy white peacock, and an H/D kiss. If I do this sort of thing again, I'll try to remember to save copies!!.

I probably should have reduced the size to actual, because these are a little crazy looking this close up! You're viewing them at abut two and a half times their actual size! I think Dobby is the only one of the four that holds up well to that close scrutiny! :)
THe manor was difficult to paint because I couldn't paint actual detail, but had to hint at it instead by blocking in shapes. I'm glad you liked the end result.

You did a H/D kiss?? Oh noes, I want to see it, too! :( *wibbles*

Well, Lotus Lizzy has The Cupboard Under the Stars, and Alaana Fair has the other three. She will probably be sending me scanned copies, soon. THen i'll let you see. But I don't know...I wasn't that thrilled with how the H/D kiss came out. Remember it's only 2.5 X 3.5 inches! But still, I've already forgotten what it looked like. Maybe it's not that bad. ;) I really liked the peacock one.
